On January 1st, The Asahi Shimbun Foundation announced this year’s recipients of the Asahi Prize. Prof. Shimon Sakaguchi of IFReC was awarded because of “The discovery of regulatory T-cell (Treg) and revealing immune tolerance by Treg”.
