Deutschen Immunologie Preis (the German Immunoogy Prize) was awarded to Prof. Shimon Sakaguchi (Experimental Immunology, IFReC). He is an internationally recognized imminologist and a pioneer in studies of regulatory T cells in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases.
